Research on the cultivation of edible insects

The company Insect Europe in Lelystad (NL) opens with Wageningen University a center that does research on the cultivation of edible insects. The center will be called InsectPoint.

They will do research to find out which insects are suitable for large-scale insect consumption. There are also workshops, tours and excursions given. Other companies in the industry of breeding insects can also rent accommodation to conduct practical research.

InsectPoint opens its doors on July 3.
